The Department of Business Administration relies on the first-level disciplines of Business Administration, second-level disciplines of Enterprise Management, Investment, Accounting, Technical Economics and Management, Introduction to Systems Engineering, Intellectual Property Management, Environmental Management, Operation Management, Supply Chain Management. There are 86 faculty members, including 26 professors, 38 associate professors, 16 assistant professors, and 6 scientific researchers.

In the 4^th China discipline evaluation by the Ministry of Education, Business Administration received A-level. In the professional degree evaluation in 2018, the Master of Business Administration program received A. In the national first-class undergraduate major construction Double Million Plan, Business Administration and Logistics Management were selected as the national first-class undergraduate program. The intellectual property was selected as a first-class undergraduate education model program in Liaoning Province. It has national key disciplines, National and Local Joint Engineering Laboratory of Manufacturing Management Information Technology, Liaoning Provincial Key Research Base of Humanities and Social Sciences, Manufacturing Management Technology Engineering Research Center of the Ministry of Education, Liaoning Provincial Key Laboratory of Manufacturing Management Information Technology and other scientific research platforms, national quality courses and excellent resource sharing courses.

Teaching and research were carried out focusing on multi-direction and multi-field research topics in recent years. The department has undertaken more than 100 projects including international cooperation projects, projects supported by National Natural Science Foundation, National Social Science Foundation and Ministry of Education, projects entrusted by Liaoning Provincial government and enterprises. More than 70 monographs were published and more than 1,000 papers were published in academic journals such as Science, Nature, Management World, and Journal of Management Science. Faculty has won the National Teaching Achievement Award, Bao Gang Education Award, the Scientific Research Outstanding Achievement Award of the Ministry of Education, the Science and Technology Progress Award of Liaoning Province, candidate of the New Century Hundred, Thousand and Ten Thousand Talent Project of Liaoning Province, the Famous Teaching Teacher of Liaoning Province, the Achievement Award of Philosophy and Social Science of Liaoning Province, the Excellent Teaching Achievement Award of Liaoning Province, and the National 100 Excellent Management Cases. The research results have been approved by national and local leaders and adopted and applied by the National Development and Reform Commission, the Ministry of Science and Technology, the Ministry of Education, Chian National Intellectual Property Administration, the relevant departments or institutions of Liaoning Province and Dalian City, contributing wisdom to the national and local economic and social development.
